We understand that building a house can be a rollercoaster of emotions. Our aim is to make the process as seamless as possible for you. We do this via a construction schedule that is regularly updated and shared with you as well as appointing one or two experienced carpenters as the site manager. You will have Mark's direct number and Mark will continue onsite as required, along with weekly inspections. Just as you will be experiencing the excitement of receiving the keys to your finished home, your expert building team are excited to handover the keys to your beautiful masterpiece.

Prior to engaging Mark Roberts Builders we used Mark and his team to do some much needed renovations and restorations on our past home so we knew the team and were comfortable with them and their work. We had plans drawn up by an architect for us. We then took the plans to a local volume builder and to Mark Roberts Builders for quotes. Both quotes were very similar but Mark Roberts Builders were a lot more flexible in allowing us to source fixtures and fittings for the house when things were on special which helped with savings at the end of the build. The other benefit of having the Roberts Builders build our home is that most of the team lived locally. We were able to source old telephone poles for our verandah posts. Mark had bases made and the team fitted them without any problems even though none of them had used these sort of posts for this purpose before. Also we asked that all the entrances be wheelchair/ stepless suitable, with wide doorways for easy access, including a porch for unloading the car and being able to take goods directly inside, from undercover to the kitchen with one door and no steps. He is also very aware that the foundations must be finished well above ground level so that it is then not susceptible to flooding. Nothing was impossible or too hard for the team. Their work space was always tidy and all trades seemed to work so well together. They were also a lovely team to talk to, easy to work with and most importantly we felt very safe having them around while we were living in the shed and they were on site. In the end the house was built 2 months early and under budget. Mark prices his builds as a walk-on and then off-site with no hidden extras which is refreshing and is willing to do as much or as little as you need.
